There are a variety of forms you have to fill out, and you mentioned many of them. The main one is the FAFSA. I especially like your quote at the end "You will catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar." That is certainly true! The goal in getting these financial forms done is just patience, patience, patience!
Thanks and great post!

Re: NACADA 2009 San Antonio

WOW ... we've had some excellent feedback from the demonstration of the AXIS advising system and the ensuing email conversation on the NACADA Technology Commission ListServ ... thanks to all who have endorsed this project. For those who'd like a little more information, on what transpired at NACADA 2009 (#nacada09), I'd offer Eric Stoller's summary of the current technological environment and available tools as posted on his blog (http://ericstoller.com/blog/20....

The presentation I offered is located here: http://j.mp/nacada09-274,
the link to the summary page of the past project is http://www.depts.ttu.edu/advis...,
and the link to the demonstration is http://j.mp/axisdemo.

Please continue to post your feedback on the open source project and your/your institution's willingness to (or interest in) actively participating or providing other support for the project.

I'm very encouraged by you all ... thanks!

Regards,
JRB.
